Angela Lee

Program Manager

Angela Lee is a mission-driven professional with extensive experience designing and managing programs and initiatives that advance nonprofit priorities. Her work focuses on strategy and execution, bringing together cross-functional teams and a wide range of stakeholders to move initiatives from concept through implementation. Over the course of her career, Angela has developed and scaled national programs and initiatives centered on workforce development, economic mobility, legal services, and mental health and substance use disorder care for diverse populations, including the veteran community. With a background spanning program management, communications, and public policy and government relations, Angela brings a holistic and collaborative approach to building and leading initiatives that create meaningful impact.

Guided by a commitment to service and expanding opportunities for others, she is Board Vice Chair and a founding member of the Diversity in Government Relations Coalition and an active member of Washington Women in Public Relations’ Pro Bono and Professional Development Committees. Angela holds a Master of Arts in Criminology from The George Washington University, where she received the Excellence in Graduate Research and Writing Award for her master’s thesis, which was published in Police Quarterly, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Journalism from Boston University.

She lives in Maryland with her husband, daughter, and dog and is happiest when spending time with family and friends, exploring local restaurants, running outdoors (never on a treadmill), and working on embroidery projects.
